Since Las Vegas is a desert, it is able to host sporting events year round, such as, The Nevada Tennis Association, the Las Vegas 51’s Triple-A baseball team (affiliated with the Toronto Blue Jays), The Las Vegas Wranglers Professional Hockey Team, The Las Vegas Locomotives, a UFL indoor football league, all of the UNLV athletics such as Basketball, Football, Baseball and more.
