Although the City of Las Vegas is a defined area, it actually doesn’t cover much of the Las Vegas valley. The Strip doesn’t even sit within the city limits. It is in the unincorporated area of Clark County. Other cities in the area include the City of Henderson and the City of North Las Vegas .
